I am excited to officially be in the Kenton County Constable role! My focus will be to partner with local law enforcement and community leaders to keep our neighborhoods safe. I hope to accomplish this by creating opportunities to education and drive awareness on all of the topics that our currently haunting our communities and families.

Paul and Kristi Woodard have been married for 25 years. Together they have three children: Luke, Karissa, and Peyton. In 2004, Paul and his family moved from Dayton, Ohio to Independence, Kentucky and proudly call Kenton County their home after 13 years of residency. Paul graduated from Wright State University with a Business of Science degree in Marketing and Management. He has over 20 years of experience in successful leadership and strategic consulting within marketing and the financial services industry. Paul is a military veteran who served over 10 years within the Army National Guard and Reserves. While serving within the 11th and 19th Special Forces Groups he became passionate about training others. Paul’s passion then transferred to the general public when he established Woodard Defensive Solutions, LLC in 2010. Within his business, Paul provided defensive handgun training, self-defense training, advanced carry, and certification for the KY CCDW. Paul is also a certified NRA instructor. Paul was a licensed FFL, but closed the FFL to focus on the constable role.
Focused on helping families within the community by providing education and awareness on drug and safety related topics.
Paul is a veteran and is passionate about helping those who sacrifice daily to keep us safe and protected. Paul will use the role to advocate for veterans and first responders and help provide the recognition they deserve within our community.
